Call for Special Sessions
Special session proposals should include the title, aim and scope (including a list of main topics), and the names of the organizers of the special session, together with a short biography of all organizers. A list of potential contributors will be helpful.
Special session proposals will be evaluated based on the timeliness, uniqueness of the topic and qualifications of the proposers. The proposers are expected to have a PhD degree and have a good publication track record in the proposed area. After review, a decision on whether the proposal will be accepted will be sent to the proposers within two weeks after receipt of the proposals. Accepted special sessions will be listed on the website. However, it is likely that an accepted proposal will be combined with another one to avoid multiple special sessions covering a similar topic.
Please send us the proposal via email: cecnet@cecnetconf.org

Call for Papers for Special Session
One of the cornerstones for the progress in the fourth industrial revolution is the development of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS). In the concept of CPSs, the merge of physical and virtual worlds takes place. This merge is not only limited to industrial applications but is also extended to various application sectors such as automotive, process industry, railroad, avionics, robotics, and medical applications. In all the above-mentioned applications, safety is an essential requirement to ensure the prevention or mitigation of failure due to the malfunctioning of these systems. Therefore, various standards have been developed to support the design, realization, operation, and maintenance of systems used in these safety-related applications, such as IEC 61508, IEC61511, IEC62061, ISO26262, ISO/TS 15066, and ISO 10218. All these standards aim to provide guidelines that could void or mitigate the failures from the electrical, electronic, or programmable electronic systems that can lead to injury or death of humans or damage on the property or environment.Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Safe Cyber Physical Systems in industrial applications
- System on Chip for safety Related Applications
- Functional safety in Human-Robot Collaborations (HRC)
- Functional Safety in Automotive Applications
- Functional Safety in Medicine Applications
- Safety Software Architectures and Applications
- Safety Hardware Architectures and Applications
This special session is now open for submission and registration. Please submit your abstract/full paper via the Submission System and choose the option of "Special Session on Safe Cyber Physical Systems". After that, you can make the conference registration directly via the Registration Page or the conference secretary will contact you for further information.
